Hello everyone. I'm Keith Lawson, a lifelong IT professional and technical enthusiast. I have spent most of my career building and managing solutions on top of open-source technologies. I thrive on using technology to solve problems.

Bio

For over 25 years, Keith has worked across cybersecurity, computer science, and engineering—leading security programs, modernizing infrastructure, and developing software. As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at London Health Sciences Centre, he oversees security strategy, operations, risk management and incident response, ensuring one of Canada’s largest hospital systems is protected while driving digital transformation.

His career spans cyber defense, enterprise IT and full-stack development, with extensive experience in both the technical and strategic sides of cybersecurity. Just as importantly, he values system design, automation and applied research. An engineering mindset informs his approach to modernizing large-scale systems, while his computer science foundation fuels ongoing work in AI, reinforcement learning and health IT.
